Privacy Policy — Tasbih Pro: Dhikr & Qibla

1. Introduction

Tasbih Pro: Dhikr & Qibla ("Tasbih Pro", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") is an Islamic dhikr and prayer companion app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Location Data

We request access to your device location ONLY to:

• Calculate Qibla direction
• Determine accurate prayer (Namaz) times for your city

Location coordinates are used locally to calculate Qibla direction and prayer times. Coordinates may also be sent to Apple's reverse-geocoding service to display a city or region name. We do not send precise location coordinates to our servers or directly provide them to Google AdMob.

2.2 Notification Permissions

We request permission to send notifications for:

• Prayer time reminders
• Dhikr reminders

You can disable notifications anytime in
iPhone Settings → Tasbih Pro → Notifications.

2.3 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

For users without Lifetime Premium, we show ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Approximate location derived from the IP address
• Device identifiers, including IDFA when permitted by Apple
• Product interaction data
• Advertising data
• Crash data
• Performance data

We use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage advertising consent where required. Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission separately controls access to IDFA and cross-app tracking.

If you deny tracking permission, we do not allow access to the IDFA. Refusing ATT does not disable advertisements; contextual, non-personalized, or limited ads may still be shown according to your consent choices, Google's policies, and your device settings.

2.4 Purchase Data (Apple StoreKit)

If you purchase Lifetime Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple.
We do NOT collect or store your payment information.
We only receive confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made.

2.5 Data We Do NOT Collect

• Email address
• Name
• Phone number
• Account credentials (no login required)
• Contacts
• Camera or microphone
• Health data
• Browsing history

2.6 Dhikr Statistics (Local Only)

We track your dhikr counts and history (number of times you tapped, dhikr sessions) for displaying your personal progress.

This data is stored LOCALLY on your device only.

• Never uploaded to any server
• Never shared with any third party
• Only you can see it
• Deleted automatically if you delete the app

We do NOT sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by:

• Google AdMob — advertising, measurement, and related diagnostics, subject to your consent choices and applicable law
• Apple — payment processing and reverse geocoding

Both companies maintain their own privacy policies and comply with applicable privacy laws.

5. Data Retention

• Location coordinates and the selected location name may be stored locally on the device to provide Qibla direction, prayer times, and reminders. They are removed when the App is deleted and may be replaced when the location is refreshed.
• Notification settings: stored locally on device
• Purchase status: stored locally via StoreKit
• Ad data: governed by Google's retention policy

6. Children's Privacy

Tasbih Pro is not directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Revoke location permission:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Tasbih Pro

Revoke notification permission:
Settings → Tasbih Pro → Notifications

Revoke tracking permission (AdMob):
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Tasbih Pro

Review advertising consent:
Where required, open Tasbih Pro → Settings → Privacy Options. This option is displayed when required by Google UMP.

Delete your Dhikr statistics & app data:
Simply delete Tasbih Pro from your iPhone.
All local data (dhikr counts, history, settings) is permanently and automatically removed.

To delete only dhikr statistics inside the App:
Tasbih Pro → Settings → Reset statistics

Delete advertising data (Google AdMob):
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for Tasbih Pro

We will respond within 30 days.

Note: Since we do not store any personal data on our servers, there is very little for us to delete on our end. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Since we do not store personal data on servers, the risk of data breach is minimal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
